Residential structures: learn about the basics
Most people don't understand how the average house is constructed. Of course, unless you are working in the construction industry you don't really need to but you may find it interesting to learn a little about the basics anyway. This article (thanks to George Wilkie and Stuart Arden) provides you with a few examples of basic home construction details so you can better understand how your home is 'put together'.
